Organized Youth Group Cooking

Looking for a fun, hands-on cooking adventure for kids in 3rd grade and up? Step into the kitchen for a high-energy, 2-hour, Iron Chef–inspired experience where teamwork, creativity, and a little culinary magic take center stage!

Perfect for philanthropic groups, scout troops, homeschoolers, and youth development organizations, this interactive program brings kids together to chop, stir, sauté, and socialize. Along the way, they’ll earn badges, meet educational requirements, and—most importantly—cook something delicious.

Escuela de Rogow can host up to 18 kids or teens (weather permitting). For larger groups of elementary-aged children, a few extra grown-up sous chefs may be required. The flat rate for this event is $450, regardless of group size.

Once aprons are on, participants are divided into kitchen brigades. Each brigade takes over its own cooking station, fully stocked with a recipe, fresh ingredients, and all the tools they need. I kick things off with a lively demo, showing young chefs how to read a recipe, prep like a pro, and cook with confidence.

Whether your group prefers a friendly, collaborative cook-along or a spirited culinary showdown, the experience can be customized to fit your vibe. And the best part? Every chef gets to sit down and enjoy the dish they created—because the only thing better than cooking is eating your hard work.
